ABOUT ME

Sean Michael Field

Originally from Barbados, I am an award winning filmmaker, producer, writer and entrepreneur. My journey through the world of media from the Caribbean to the United States and beyond has been filled with growth. Over the years, versatility and attention to detail led me through a diverse path starting in the corporate world as a senior analyst for South Western Bell Corporation (formerly SNET). I then moved onto a successful career in the advertising industry and later relocated to Los Angeles where I took on the challenge of acting in major US advertising campaigns and films such as the better known Hancock featuring Will Smith.

This childhood dream and love of film created Iland Boy Films in 2011, a film and music video production company. Within a short space of time I partnered with FLOW (formerly LIME) to create the first lifestyle Caribbean television network, NEXUS Networks. Currently I run NEXICON, a digital media marketing company that focuses on combining my skills under one umbrella. I have a strong passion to bring compelling storytelling to a broader audience from a unique perspective.

I'm also an avid sports fan, Star Wars Jedi, lover of music and dad to two amazing sons.
